No offense taken Crowkilla! I was just curious as to why you didn't use the 24" barrel for ducks. I've always hunted deer but never really hunted waterfowl until this year and as a newbie, I was thinking that there was something to the 24" barrel that made it less-than-ideal for ducks. Now I know why. Actually, that's a really good reason. I may do that as well. I have an Extrema 2 with a 24" barrel that I use for turkey but I may just use my 870 with the 28" barrel for duck out of consideration for my hunting friends.

Now that I think about it, when I ask them a question, most of their responses are, "Say what"? LOL!

I have a Browning BPS 10 gauge and love it...kills em all dead......but I also bought a Stoeger 2000 great auto for the price.
