RE: GOOSE & DUCK HUNTING IN WISCONSIN
Sorry guys I have been hunting alot and haven't been checking this site lately. Any how the high water for some was a hassle but for me it got me back into some old potholes no one knows about. Love the skiffs. the local geese are getting a good education on pool 7 and the ducks are taking classes also hopefully this little break will give them a false sense of security again. So for now I'm going bow hunting then back to the marsh when it opens again. Stateline you mentioned that you have chessies I have two older rotts that are getting ready to leave to dog heaven and have been thinking about getting a good retriever (can't always use my buddies) let me know whats available.

I went out two weeks ago with my dad and got 2 geese, then on the duck opener we got 6 total, 3 mallard drakes one drake woodie and two blue wing teal. This past weekend we got 8 ducks with 4 guys. 5 b.w. teal 2 woodie drakes and one mallard hen. Going out tonight to try and fill our goose tags up.
