go into wally world and get a remington 870 express 12 gauge 3" magnum new runs forbout $330

Go get a used Benelli Nova with a 24-26 inch barrel. Can find them used well under 300 and around 300 new. That will smoke a Tom at 50 yards with the 3 1/2 #5 heavy shot and XX full choke and with the modified choke works well all the way around on everything else you would hunt. My 2 cents
