Im interested in a set of locked antlers, preferably on full skulls. Weathered and old is ok. Just email me @ [email protected]. Thank you, and maybe I can help one of you sometime.

I have seen many sets of locked animals.I think very very few of them where locked befor death. It is a big fad now to find antlars and lock them to gether for more money.
Any time deer die locked together there is a lot of wear where the antlaers are locked. There will also be very little to no movment when moving them.If there is any movement there is tons of wear.
Good luck

Thank you very much for your reply Charles. Im a taxidermist by trade, and very familiar with locks. I agree with you on the contact marks. A muddy set gets worn real quick too. The exception is when the locks are caused by the animals muzzles or skulls along with the antlers. If theres any question about the authenticity, I ask for pictures from the site. Theres almost always pics from where they found them. Wish me luck!
