I bought a camcorder....anybody have any input?
Well I was looking at the Canon GL1, then heard about the whole industry going HD, and that's to steep for me. Anyway, a friend of the family had a camera that has only been used 2 times for taping wedding's, and he sold it to me for $450.00it is a Panasonic PV-DV950 it's a few years older, but I guess a top of the line mid range camera at the time. Any of you guys have any input good or bad about this camera. Thanks in advance.

Never used that model , but it got good reviews when it came out.........looks like it has fairly easy to use manual controls and the LCD screen is good sized, what i did notice was a comment about attaching headphones and that it was somewhat cumbersome, however it looks like it should be a good camera to get your feet wet with and once you get into videoing you can always upgrade if you like.
