Default Pheasant Hunting in Iowa??

Where are some good places to hunt in Iowa?? Is it hard getting land??

I just hunted around Kalona, Iowa this weekend and the Amish and Mennonites were very willing to let you hunt but it seems they have been picked over pretty good...Saturday the Roosters sat tight and killed 5(me and buddy) over points...Sunday Roosters ran like crazy and would flush 60-70 yards out.....Hens sat incredably tight!!!

Havn't had a very good year for pheasant here. They seam to be in the heavy cover all the time. Try some marshlands and places most hunters don't want to deal with. Thats where I seam to be having hte most luck.
