I'm looking at a few O/U's for; Pheasant, Grouse, and Bobwhite(dog training)...
Some of the guns i've been looking at have the option to get the auto ejectors or extractors. What is the pro's and cons of each? I don't have any experiance with O/U's so I really have no idea what the practical applications are for either?

Alot of folks prefer extractors when shooting targets to avoid chasing hulls on the ground all day. However , ejectors are preferred by most for hunting . The ejectors allow for a faster reload without trying to pull the hulls out of the breech by hand. Do remember to take your hulls out with you, if you buy an ejector gun.

This should be a non issue. Ejectors add a little value to the shotgun and in the field if you need a quick reload you have that option. If you have a shotgun with ejectors it is no problem to open your gun and actually easier to have you empties in hand than a extractor gun.

I disagree with all of the above, I have shot O/U's for over 30 years. I find ejectors the only way to go. I shoot over 200 rounds at trap each week and training myself to catch the empties took about 10 minutes. In the field when you got a covey of quail or other birds getting up all around you that fast reload is very important. I wouldn't own a gun that does not have ejectors.
