I don't really know why everyone is jumping on DesertWolf. In my opinion, IN MY OPINION, If i had spent that much on a gun, I would never use it for anything but shooting trap, but thats just what i would do. Why spend that much on shells when, unless your an awesome shot, your going to waste as many shells as you hit birds with. I read in some magazine that the average dove hunter shoots about 8 times for each dove killed. If you got the money to spend on those shells, go for it, but maybe some guys don't buy the really expensive shells so I don't think that stalker had not have to say that he only uses fioochi instead of the walmart shells. It was like he was just saying that unless you pay 20 bucks a box you are just buying junky shells. I don't know...I just think that stalker could have just said that he uses fioochi and left out the part about not using certain shells.

DuckHuntin247,

thats basically the point I was trying to make, perhaps I came off a just a little bit harsh. But I cant stand people who are snoody and basically say the equipment I use is junk, just because its cheap its automatically no good for them. People like that just peave the hell out of me.

To answer the initial question, I shoot a Remington 1100 LT 20 and (cheap) Remington Heavy Dove loads, #7-1/2 or #8.

I do okay, and am happy with the combination.
