    i was building some trails and every dayi went a ruffed grouse would always be walking around are they?

    I have heard in the past that they are attrated to chainsaws, so they vey well could come see what is making the noise if you are on a atv.

    You would have to rule out that perhaps they just like the opening that the atv trail has created in the woods.
