I would urge you to get involved, if you have time and a place, get a good bird dog, German Wirehair Pointers are my favorite, a good bird dog requires a lot of attention, training, activities, but to me it is worth it, watching a well trained bird dog in the field is a work of art , good luck.

Has there been anything published on pheasant crop for fall 2020?
do you have any local knowledge on hatch success?

States should be coming out with that info shortly , contact the game dept of the state your interested in hunting and see what info they have available, also, Pheasants Forever will have a state by state breakdown for the more popular pheasant states, that is another good source.
