ANYONE FROM SW IDAHO WITH POINTING DOGS??[8D]

Nope. I' m from Western Washington with pointing dogs. Hunted the Snake and Grand Ronde River breaks in that neck of the woods, though.

Hey i am from Mountain Home ID. I have a 8 month old GSP that i have been trying to train. she is coming around. she is just now goin into heat but i am gonna wait till i hunt her a bit before i breed her.

Chukarbuster, I' m way up here in Bonners Ferry. About as far away from you as I can be and still be in Idaho. Up this way we hunt Ruffed Grouse with our pointing dogs. Pheasants are starting to do better, thanks mainly to efforts by Pheasants Forever. We hope to get into more of them this coming season.

I used to live in Pocatello. I also lived in Shoshone where I did a lot of pheasant and duck hunting. I moved back north and once again hunt geese and grouse and ducks...but no pheasants. I did enjoy pheasant hunting.
I have a new black and white pup that might be a Brittany or Springer or a cross. I don' t really know, but she is birdie. We' ll see if works out. If not, she' ll be a house dog.

I just moved here last july i tried to do some pheasant huntin. Only got 2 and one was from my bosses dog caught it. I have seen a couple of chuckers. I would love to give it a try. Lets hook up. My dog will hunt i believe, she is perdy smart and listens well (exept she loves to eat shoes) Do you have a dog lets give it a wirl.

Critch, Don' t tell anyone, but pheasants( thanks to Pheasants Forever and our new WMA) are starting to do well up here in Boundary County.
