Am looking to make a trip somewhere to hunt quail in 2006. Somewhere where you could get into 10-20 coveys a day. Any ideas???????

Say Hoghunter,
was that on leased or Public land? I've look at TX hunting several times but could not aford the land owner fees. Any adive?

have you looked at Oklahoma? I have hunted along the TX boader on the OK side and had good succuss.

deep south texas has lots of quail but can get expensive its redicoulus how much some of the quail hunts can cost

yeah some places are very expensive but I had a freebie and was able to stay with one of my friends and hunted for free but as far as I know some places can be very cheap
