Been out 3 times and still havent got a shot. first day got into a cuvey and flushed around 10 (no shots). The other two times managed to hear a few birds and see the tail of one. We had on cross the road in front of us but my partner screwed up. We have had one morning with frost, away from the big lake. It didnt kill the ferns, the lack of water has droped alot of them.

All in all I would say it is not going to be the best year for birds, last year was real slow and it takes a few for them to come back. Get out and give it you best and be thankful for any shots you get. Hope we get some flights of woodies.

Do ya have adog, if so stay by the water, it has been hot 70-80 degs.
