I want to take my son with me to a nice hunting preserve this fall. He is not old enough to hunt pheasant yet as he is only 9, but I would like him to walk along and watch the dog work and show him phesant hunting up close. Can anyone suggest a good hunting preserve in MD or in PA near the MD line?

Check out this place. It might be a little too far for you though. Probably about 2 hours away.

Ps stocks them for the first day. Up here near morgantown the gamelands ob the first morning is full of dumb birds standing all over the place. Also blue marsh in berks county is stocked by the state

They also stock them for the youth pheasant hunt which starts this weekend. I had two cockbirds running down the road in front my truck yesterday. I actually had to stop on two or three occasions to avoid hitting them.
