Does weather affect turkey movement?
When it is cold say in the 30's doesn't that affect turkey movement. I always thought that if it was that cold the turkeys wouldn't gobble and wouldn't move as much. Also if the grass is wet with dew or if it is raining lightly will the turkey's stay in the brush or venture out into the fields. I have gone out three days now and had no luck. I guess this is my excuse. I blame it on the cloudy, cold, rainy weather instaed of thinking maybe there are no birds in my area.

Cold can sometimes keep them quiet. Light rain I don't think will drive them into fields like a heavy rain will, but if they are already wet they may seek fields to dry off early. Should warm up and get better before long
