Default MIchigan hunters
i was just wondering how any michigan hunters are doing this year? Are the birds gobbling? I'm just curious because i'm from michigan but stationed in NC and miss MI hunting alot, thanks

Opening day both my pather and I - good 2 to 3 yr old birds......but very late int he day this year.

Mine - 18.8 lbs spurs 3/4 " beard 9" @ 12:50PM

Partners - 21.4 lbs 9.5" beard - spurs 1" @ 1:15 PM

So ya gotta wait them out...

Both came in gobbling in two separate areas we hunt.

I was up north this weekend in Grayling area and I saw some heavy turkey tracks. I am going to go after that turkey next year.
