Default GOBBLE Once, Now what?

Ok, say you set up, and you start calling, you get a gobble within 50-60 yards away, now what? do you stay put? do u make him gobble a few more times, so he knows where u are? try purring? or how would u go about this?

If he is within 50 to 60 yards of you he knows exactly where you're at, just sit quitely for awhile, He knows you are there and thats all you need for him to know. If he starts to leave out on you then you can do more calling and purring. Also don't forget the leaves, scratching in the leaves will sometimes bring a hung-up gobbler in.

I agree with scratching leaves. It works great. It's a great way to close the distance. Good luck.
