Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Putting response

After being setup at day break for about 45 minutes, calling 3-4 times and no response, I get a gobble and a few putts. I called 3-4 more times (yelps & cuts) and more of the same, a gobble and putts from my left but at different locations. There was also some yelps, but they may have been a hunter. Can tell me what was going on?

All the yelps, putts and gobbles were off property so I couldn't make a move on them. While this was going on, three jakes came in behind me, from off the property also, and my nephew took one of them.

Default RE: Putting response

Could someone possibly be on the other property using improper calls ? An inexperienced caller could. I found the putt was easiest to do with a diaphram but learned the hard way years ago what happens if you use it.
just a theory...
