I got my second bird this afternoon, called up one gobbler and six jakes. The gobbler gobbled four times and the jakes tried to gobble every breath. He strutted in to 20 yards and bang, he had a nine inch beard, 7/8 and 15/16 inch spurs. We have got a few more points now. Be safe and have fun!!!

These 2 i saw looked like bear cubs. and there heads so pretty it looked fake..we pulled over honked the horn and all 3 times both gobbled.

That great! 2 birds already you lucky dawg. Like turkeyhunter_15 I have to wait till May for my season and I can only take one bird. Congrat on the 2nd bird.

colorado season opens on saturday, still havin a hard time deciding where to start, theres just so much public land in CO. If i dont get one in Co i WILL bag a good one on my moms farm in indiana in May. turkeys everywhere!
