Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

JW,

Thanks for posting those sorry pics. I'm still working on geting my camera going. I've deleted all camera info and will turn off the NIS and see if that will work.

I put the wing bones to this turkey in the mail to you yesterday, 30th. I think someone else asked if you wanted beards and spurs. If so, I've got a few sets laying around my shop you are welcome to, just let me know.

Thanks,
dog1

JW,

Spurs and beards will be in the mail within next day or so.

Want you to know what's going on here with my bird hunting. Our river has flooded, got the birds pushed out to high ground. The river droped about a foot and now we're expecting another 2 to 3 inches of rain tonight and tomorrow. Because of rain north of us, the river will rise even more.

I saw 2 birds in a feed patch today, one looked to be an easy 20 lbs or better, he had a thick and long beard. The other was smaller, but a shooter. Needless to say I couldn't close the deal, they crossed the property line following hens, heard 3 more gobbling, couldn't close on them either. See what you're missing. If it's not lightning in the morning I'm going to get wet, can't sit here and think that one might be calling me.
