TF is right on about the decoys, when you need them you don't have them, and when you do need them they make the birds spooky. They are pretty nice to have, maybe get one and watch wallyworld after season and get some real cheap.
I think calls are a personal choice, get one of each and try them all whatever you do best and are most confident in should be your call of choice but be ready to change. Some birds are picky.
