Default Hoyt Pro's?

What are the differnces between the Hoytkatera vs vectrix plus?
I know the brace height katera @6" and the Vec plus @7". Also the10 feet per seconddiffernce in shot. Is this due to the shorter brace? how do they comparewhenshooting? local shop has the Katera but not the Vectrix plus. I havent had a chance to shot them I hope to get there again soon. Are Hoyts made in the states I would like to buy an american made product butIcant seem to find that info on there web site? Thanks guys I thought I had It narrowed down to the general or the black ice but now I dont know there are so many good bows to choose from.

The differences between the 2 are brace height and speed. And yes, the speed is due to the brace height. ATA is the same (save the Katera XL) and the cam is the same. They shoot very similar. It's pretty difficult to tell them apart actually. Yes, they are made in the states.

About $100 I believe, w/ the more expensive being the Katera. Now the katera XL, tack on another $50 I think.

Thanks I shot the katera today and I dont really have any complaints about it, very nice bow. I am going back on Thursday to make my final choice ( at least for a year or so ). I will let you know what I decide.
