Default Box calls On Ebay

Hey Folks,

The season is just around the corner, and like the rest of you I got the fever, BAD! I have been bideing my time looking at box calls on ebay. There are sure some dandy looking ones on there. most of them are made by makers I have never heard of. I was just wondering if any of you folks have heard of, or delt with any of these call makers and if so whats your take on their work?

Rays Calls by Ray Tom FL?

Helm Custom Calls by Darrel Helm Kentucky

Lonefeather Calls by Tom Laske Lonefeather Berkshire Mnts

Mike Lapp From PA

They sure make some pretty calls, I Might have to have one of each

I have heard of Lonefeather calls and Tom Laske.

Good to see you post again Jerry. What season did you draw for this year.

Hey Wacker,
I drew The last season (the summer season) again this year, I am Hopeing for a late spring myself. How did the DNR treat you this year?

MrLongbeard Yes I see Bud and Betty's In the Midwest catalog, They are new to me too.

There are getting to be so many custom call makers out there, its just hard to keep up with them all.
I have quite an infatuation with collecting box calls, I want to add some new ones to my collection. Some of those box calls on Ebay are pricey, I was just wondering what the hype was about. Thanks for the replies..

Jerry

LoneFeather calls are almost legendary in quality and beauty...but expensive!
Mike Lapp makes a fine call.
I bought a Helms Custom call and it was a beauty. I couldn't make it sound worth a flip and donated it to a JAKES event as a door prize.
