Has anyone used these shells? Pretty sure they were popular back in the mid to late 90's around here. I sure would like to get my hands on some more. Are these shells even made anymore?

Some guns shoot them and some don't. My wifes was one and she bought a Case for her self.
I heard that the plant had burnt down and they decided not to rebuild and went out of Business , I could be wrong but that was the story I heard...BT

Adrian, the Active shell company was bought out by another shell company called "Kent" a few years ago. Hence, you won't see anymore Active shells being made. The only ones you will see, are the ones left over at some sporting good's shops.

A friend used them in turkey loads. He liked them because they were 2 1/4 oz loads in 3". I still have some of the steel shot waterfowl looads they are great in flooded timber but not so good over open water. Too slow. They are out of business forever and Kent bought all their loading equipment in the late 90's. Good luck finding some. I am a Winchester Supreme fan 3" 1 3/4 oz load.
