Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

My heaviest bird weighed 23#s
Longest spurs was 1 5/16"
Longest beard was 11"

But the most oddball was this one. The middle spurs are 1" and the others are 3/8". I have showed it on here before. This bird weighed 20# and had a 10 1/4" beard and is one of only 7 recorded by the NWTF.

2003: Best Friend/Hunting Buddy Steele shot with my calling
Eastern Bird
Southern Indiana
Private ground
25-1/2 lbs
3 beards
11-3/4"
9-5/8"
8-1/2"
1-5/8" spurs

2004: Me same private ground farm about 200 yards from where Steele shot his monster.
24 lbs.
2 beards
11"
9-3/8"
1-1/4" spurs

Weird that these multi-bearded birds on the same farm so close to one another.....going after Merriams in NE in Mid-April then Easterns here at the end of the month!!!!

**** it is only January, and I already ready!!!
