You hit the nail on the head Bob.It isn't the size of the bird but the quality of the hunt that matters.

My best three all came in April of 2004.
Rio #1. 1 3/8" spurs and 9 1/2" beard
Rio #2. 1 5/16" spurs and 10 1/2" beard
Eastern. 1 1/4 spurs with wicked hook and 10" beard.

All of then scored in mid 60"s.

24.3 lbs, 1 1/8 spurs 10 1/8 beard. He did hang nicely.

Vance,The head on that mount is freeze dried.I have one mounted with a fake head and don't really like it as well as the freeze dried.
Ont. That's a nice lookin mount you have.
