Default Gobble dot sight

I recently bought and installed a gobble dot sight on my shotgun. In the package, the front and rear sights are close together and appear to be very bright. At home, after installing them, I have noticed that, although the rear sights remain bright, the front sight appears very small and not very bright. It disappears completely when aimed at a bright window (from inside). I was similarly disappointed with it's low-light capabilities. You need a good amount of light to see the sights at all. If one flies in from the roost, I may be in trouble with this sight.

That's weird, maybe the sight you bought was faulty, I love my tru-glo sights, they are bright as can be in all light conditions.

I've got the exact same sight with no complaints. You might have got a defective one. Take it back.

I'm planning on sighting in my shotgun in the next few days. Hopefully, I'll see that the sight does work better outside. Another thing that concerns me is how to adjust the sight if the pattern is slightly off. From what I see, there isn't much you can do to change it once it's installed.
