Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Travel Routes II

Blue Moose CO posted a question about travel routes. My question deals with the tukeys on travel routes. If a flock of turkeys is on the move, where in relation to the flock will the boss gobbler normally be? Leading, middle of the pack, or bringing up the rear?

Once again BB's right on the money in my experiences in the woods. There usually always bringing up the rear. Its always a cool sight to watch a flock pass by and then all the sudden at the end here comes that big ball of feathers as ole longbeard shows off his wears!!!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
