Cody Woodsman call
I was checking them out at the show and i think that all of his call sound the same. I think he just changes the name of them. I bought a cody call a few years ago and thought it was the s!@#. I gave that call to a friend of mine a couple years ago to make room for my other calls that i like much better.
Anybody elses cody collecting dust?

RE: Cody Woodsman call
I have two Codys in my collection,World class Glass, and the Cody 2 slate.I dont use the Glass very much anymore, ever since the striker died, and i havent found a replacement that will work to my expectations,of what the call should sound like.I contacted Bill by e-mail,looking for a replacement on the striker, and never heard anything from Cody PERIOD!I like the Slate, and work bird's with it every year it seem's.But my Close Calls Slate, really sound's the best,IN A Hunting Situation!

RE: Cody Woodsman call
Well i am here to tell ya i played everything at the NWTF convention so i can give you the low down on pretty much most call floating around out there, especially the custom ones.
Cody call?? Not worth the money. They don't have a sound that warrants their price tag IMO. You want a great sounding slate? There is one that is called "The Spur Collector". I'm not sure what the company's name is, maybe Magnum calls, but i know they are out of Georgia. There pot is a little plain, but their slate coupled with the darker striker was pure turkey. At only $30 it is a steal. I didn't get one, but would have easily if i hadn't had my sites on something else.
