2nd year turkey hunting and do not <img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle> like the pattern of my mossberg 835 only about 20 hits to heaD and neck only 4-5 in vitals. Want an aftermarket choke. Tried 3" and 3 1/2" all brands didn't seem to help. any suggestions.

Try some different brands/loads. My gun won't pattern Remington shells worth a hoot. It is deadly with Winchester loads. If you haven't given some other shells a try, you may be missing (no pun intended) something.

i also have a mossberg 835 with a h.s. undertaker choke tube i got at walmart for $20.00 i would try that before spending $80.00 for one of the fancy ones. mine shoots federal 3 1/2" turkey loads great at 40 yds. anymore questions email me.

i just tried 3 different Kick chokes, .680, .675 and .665. The .675 atterned the best at 40 yard with Wunchester 3.5 x 2 1/4 #6 putting 22 shots in the vitals and 84 in the head. I was using a hastings .680 and improved the pattern with the .675 Kicks. both will kill a turkey though.
