Has anybody tried to use the Thermacell for black flies? I was up in Pa, and the blackflies were brutal!! It say's on the package, that it repels black flies, and need to to know if anybody has seen this in action........... Thank You!

I haven't tried them on black flies, but i will have to say they did a great job in Florida this spring. I was really surprised how well they worked. I'd bet they would work on the black flies too.

I too haven't used it for blackflies but I would bet it works......Tried mine the other day and the skeeters and knats were ready to carry me away,,,,turned that bad boy on and presto!!!!!! ALL BUGS WERE GONE!!!! I'M IMPRESSED!!!!
