Default Thermacell

Just picked up a thermacell from Wally World. Havent even opened it yet. A quick question, what do you do with it in the tree? Is there a string, clip, etc? Just wanting to know how you utilize this device while in the stand?

I set mine beneath my seat in my permanent stand on the platform. In my ladder stand,I hang a little wire basket under the platform to set it in.On my climber, I clip it to the stand via the belt clip I attached to the back of the Thermacell.

i've seen the pouches that hold them but they don't seem worth 10 dollars. i haven't used mine in a treestand yet but i have used it on the ground, i just set it on the ground. i'm thinking of attaching a clip of some kind to the back so i can tie it to the bottom of my stand or something like that.

I put some velcro on mine and stick it to the base section on my climber under my seat.

Bass Pro sell's the carring case's for about 13.00 Can .You can hang them from your treestand or off the tree itself.

Remember that the Thermacell needs to lay flat, it's not to be hung vertically.

Thermacell is the best thing since sliced bread!

You can use it vertically but the packaging states that this will cause it to stop working prematurely. I think it has to do with how the heat from the butane vents out. Lay it flat and you won't have any problems.

yeah that's what i found out after i tried mine.

but i just talked to someone today about attaching it to your stand and he uses a very very small bungee cord tie down strap and wraps it around the arm of his stand. i think that's what i'm going to try.
