Default Camo Gun

How many of you use a camo gun? Do you think i will need to? I have a camo sleeve to put over it but i don't really like it on. What do you think, do i need a camo gun or not? Thanks!

i used camo paint that is removable to paint my 1st turkey gun which was an 870 12ga. now i have a 11-87 sps. it is not absolutly a must to have a camo gun as long as there are no shinny parts on the gun where the sun will hit and make a glare that will spook turkeys.

Absolutely do not need a camo gun. Stay in the shadows and keep your movement to a minimum---both turkey hunting laws anyway---and you'll be fine. If you're really worried about it, I would invest in a cheap blind, which allows for more opportunities in the long run anyway...

I bought a 870 mag in black synthetic cause I don't think camo is anybetter at 100 dollars more. Being still is the main thing no matter what you hunt.

I also tend to agree with the others. I have tunted with a winchester 1300 and dont think it makes much of a diffrence.

First time I went turkey scouting I had on army camo and a green hat. My old freind said go listen for gobbles, get close and scatch on this box. I heard a thundering gobble and three toms walked within 5 feet of me sitting there motionless. They scratched around behind me for a minute then walked back in front and back over the hill. I practically ran out of the woods thinkin' "this will be easy!" So it's not easy, but camo may be overrated. I used a goosegun and an old sears 12 gauge, no camo of course and they both took birds. Now I'm covered from head to toe in camo and use a camo Mossberg 835...

Scouting...now that's important... and luck of course.
