25 lbs 4 ounces
11" beard
1 1/8 left spur
1 5/16 right spur

H S Strut Black Magic friction call, " " Box call, & '' '' diaphram call.
Feather Flex decoys, two hens and a jake.

He came charging two hundred yards across a deep ravine into an open bean field after I set up and called over an hour because I couldn't go any closer.

S-b,as far as I can remember the biggest bird I've been fortunate to harvest was in 82.A rio that tipped the scales at 24.8 lbs.He had an 11 inch beard and 1.5 inch spurs on both sides!I beleive he scored 76 and change! He stuck one of those spurs right thru the web of my hand too, between my index finger and thumb!OUCH!!!I believe I used a perfection super double D diaphragm call to bring him and about 25 hens in!I didnt bother with dekes back then and rarely do today!I remeber it was rainin and blowin that particular day too!

Heaviest bird was a 22# Eastern with 3/4 spurs and 9.5 beard. Called in with a slate. He ignored a decoy in the field and wondered off into the woods. Went into the woods after him and he came on the run.

Highest scoring was a 18# Eastern with an 11" beard and 1.25" spurs. Called in with a Diamond Cutter mouth call. No decoys (I almost set up on top of him).

Lets see , the biggest bird I've bagged was at Cormiers Meat Market- 28 pounder if I member right, It took a Banana Box to tote em out to the truck, I had to indian leg wrestle this 72 yr old lady for him!
Needless to say, you know who the obvious winner was, I told her, right after I spiked that bird and did my victory dance that 2nd place was Gods way of saying you suck![8D]

Seriously-

A Louisiana Eastern- 24# , 10-1/2" Rope and 1 1/4 Hooks and I was only 16yrs old- It was the 1st Bird I killed all by my lonesome with no help- Bad thing was, I chased that bird half of the day thru woods I had never been in before and got turned around (Lost beyond belief) and didnt get out of the woods until almost 11:00 pm- My daddy wanted to Jerk a Half Hitch in my Butt to put it lightly! - That was the first time I had heard My MAMA Cuss-
Talk about make you Blush![:-]

17.5 lbs.
10 3/8 " beard...
both spurs were over an inch and 1/4

decoys played a very important role...he came out, then walked about 60 yards away...he saw them and headed back, well add some sweet calling by my sister...turned that bird around...primo's power crystal is what she was using....
