Going to try # 5 shot, 1 3/4 and 2oz. Also #6 shot, 1 3/4 and 2 oz. (I shot only the #6 1 3/4 last year and patterned good and left it at that)
All of these are 3 inch.
Also only was going to use winchester supreme. seems alot of folks are happy in the theads with winchester.
does this sound like a good starting point to find a petter pattern.
The gunis a 1300 with a kicks gobblin' thunder.

I used to swear by Federal but now I am a die hard winchester man.
I like 3" mags with 2 oz of shot #5's. 6#s really pattern well for me but i like the #5s as a nice compromise between 4's and 6's. #6 is great out to about 35 yards after that I question knock down power. #5's will kill em out to 45 yards with no problem.
BUT my #1 rule for killin em.....LET em get into 25 yards and make their heads look like swiss cheese!!![:-]
