Ive been noticing a flock of 20 with 2-3 nice
toms on my way home from work. I haven't stoped to listen as they are hidden in the woods and other people may see what i'm looking at[

Couple of weeks ago during deer season I was sitting on a stand and had a trio of gobblers entertain me for about 20 mins. It was unbelievable. About 30 mins later they wandered into the field I was hunting over.

I didn't see them but three toms were in full strut Thursday in the sunshine, temps were 45 . Today we expect up to eight inches of snow ! Overall the birds have had a mild winter, So Far!

I`m in central connecticut and mild winter means plenty of birds. Which also means the more chances of gobbling, areas with high amount of bird, already gobbling. Actually some of these birds gobble all year.
