I'm going to bowhunt turkeys this year. I am thinking about using a Rocket Buckblaster broadhead with an adder behind it. I would like anyone with experience to tell me their arrow setups and the outcomes (good or bad)
Thanks.
Thanks.

Turkey_ Dog be careful with those adders. I practiced with an adder behind my muzzy several years ago, and couldn't shoot straight pass 15yds. I don't like em.
a better choice would be a wide cuttin broadhead. 1 1/2 to 2" should be ok, with your poundage turned down. you don't need much punch to get through a turkeys thin hide.
That bein said, the only two turkeys I've killed was with a muzzy 100 gr 3 blade. but both were pass throughs, which you really don;t want. it's best
for the arrow to stay in the turkey, and a low poundage bow with a wide ccut head should do the trick. I'm goin to try to stick one myself this year.
missed a huge gobbler last spring at 15yds. my arrow hit a limb[:'(]

Hope ya'll have better luck with em than I did. I was usin the round star shaped thingy. a different type might fly better. the wire type that has 90degree bends in it, fly a little better, but not good enough for me.

I USE A THUNDERHEAD 125 3 BLADE FIXED WITH A SMALL FLAT WASHER UNDER THE BROADHEAD. IT WORKS GREAT FOR ME AND DOES NOT EFFECT MY ARROW FLIGHT MUCH. THATS MY SET UP.....TAKE CARE AND GOOD LUCK.
