I wait on the evening before the hunt begins and listen to where they'll roast and then I'll set up a few yards from their roost. I'll carry a decoy and some calls usually I carry a slate or a box call and do some yelping. Then when the turkey comes down I start clucking and yelping together. Then if I need to put my push button call on my shotgun and let the turkey walk in towards the decoy and I'll shoot it. Because the big thing is if you live out the heavy woods you'll hear those turkeys quite well.

Then I should say I go out before dawn and set up and let the process begin.
