this last fall i drove around trying to find some turkey hunting areas... i saw losts of turkeys, usually on farms neer cows or other livestock. I don't really know where to go to hunt them, or what to hunt them with. I have a couple of browning shotguns (12g and 2 20g's) and was wondering what type of choke and shot to use? I am wandering around in the dark as far as turkey hunting goes, but i would like to try going this spring.

Check into your local NWTF Banquet schedule...meet some Turkey Hunters and be as open and honest as you were here...I bet you make a friend, get a coach, and learn to enjoy this nutty sport like we all do...

Save yourself, there's still time for you! For some of us it's too late we're stuck forever in this addiction called turkey hunting
. Just kinding about saving yourself. As far as it being an addiction and we're stuck forever, I was serious. I try to stay away from this section of the forum untill at least late January. It's too early for me to start getting the Spring fever in me. After a few seasons you'll know what I'm talking about
You'll find a lot of good guys and gals on here that are will to help with any question you have. Welcome to turkey hunting Ih58 and hope you have a great holiday
. c-ya after the new year!
