Thanx to all who answered my novice turkey post. Now let's talk calls. I see I need some sort of locator call. Then a pushbutton or box call? And maybe a diaphram call or calls as well? Help me out guys! Tell me what you would use for bowhunting!

F-I-C,There are a ton of turkey calls & manufacturers on the retail market. As a bowhunter a pushbutton box and diaphragm would be the way to go.You can operate the push-pin with one hand and the mouthcall without any hand use at all.I like H.S's line of alumi strut diaphragm turkey calls and most all the major manufacturers make the box as well.H.S strut is my preferred line of calls, but try the others out too if you can afford it.I've spent a small fortune on turkey calls over the years! If it were me I would get a call or two I was comfortable with and keep practicing on them.To many guys take a ton of calls to the woods rarely ever using them.Hope this helps.
