I'm not aquainted with the jake house, but I have an ameristep model call the outhouse which is teepee shaped with four zipper windows, I seem to like it for turkey hunting, if you get the jake house you'll have to let us know what you think!

My mentor has an umbrella blind. It's a giant umbrella that has a curtan attached. when you open it the curtan falls around you. it works great. (Water proof)
