I' m curious...have any of you tried out the Primos Chukar Call? Even just played around with it? I work at a major sporting goods store which received this call in our outdoors department. I pulled it out of the package and I gotta tell ya...I think this might be a very effective locator call.....why? First, it is loud and obnoxious! It is annoying as hell. It can make a gawd awful sound that I' m sure turkeys don' t hear very often and I think it would illicit shock gobbles from even the most tongue-tied gobbler. Two, it can be used in several different ways...be creative, make different sounds with it and again, it could get ' em to gobble. You can shake it like a gobble shaker, you can squeeze the rubber bulb and make a horrible screech with it, you can muffle it. Like I said, don' t be afraid to try different techniques. Finally, at about $8.99 the price ain' t too shab. For the chance at the tom of a lifetime, I' m gambling $8.99. Could be the secret weapon you' ve been looking for that all those turkey hunters clogging up the woods don' t have...just a thought
