TG, The board he walked into was on my shelter 2 years ago, he tied a pink ribbon on it so he wouldn't do it again. Then to make matters worse, which JW! will probably not admit, he cut a tree down on hisself. Now how can a man doing these dumb things kill a turkey? Please, need an answer. dog1

Of course I know a few who are undoubtedly out-smarted by the Turkey --- not naming names or looking in the mirror!!! LMAO

I'm hard of hearing myself. I tend to hunt areas where I know the birds will come to later in the day. Toms need to eat, and I'll be waiting for them! Sometimes being hard of hearing is a positive, you don't give up early or get disappointed when you hear them all gobbling on the neighbors property.

When I first started turkey hunting, my buddy who is deaf, totally...he wanted to hunt...it's a visual thing for him....his deafness did not keep him out of the woods and it just breaks my heart that anyone would be willing to just give up on turkey hunting because of it....he may not be able to hear that gobble, but he can see the dance and his sight at the end of his barrel, that's all he needed.
