Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default NE Kansas action?

How are the birds doing in NE kansas? I'll be there in 9 days and I'm wondering what the birds are up to.

I was back in that area last weekend, (actually about 45 miles N. and 20 miles east of Salina) hunting with a buddy that had been hunting since the early archery season opened, andthat Sunday morning, was the first breeding that he had seen. The birds had really been still winter flocked up, but were deffinately beginning to dispearse.SO, breeding should still be in full swing next weekend.
Although I got both of my tags filled last weekend, I'll be heading back again next weekend too. I've got a buddy that I'll be taking back and try to get his two tags filled.
Good luck!
