I just moved up to the Indianapolis area a couple months ago. Not sure how happy I am about it yet though. Anyway, I got home this morning from work right at day break. Stepped out the back door to let the dog out and one sounded off on the other side of the golf course. I immediately found myself with a smile on my face and goose bumps on my arms. I plopped a fold out lawn chair on the deck and listened to the show. I ended up hearing three different birds. They weren't to fired up just yet, but they know whats about to happen. A couple more weeks and they should really be hammering up here.

Anybody else hearing any birds?

Thats cool...I still haven't heard a gobble [&o]

They are usually gobbling down here by now, but for some reason they aren't. The weather has been crazy,so I guess that has something to do with it. They should be vocal in a week or two.

Its goes from the 60's to the 30's here all the time. Season doesnt start till late April either...so no gobbles yet.

They were gobbling here this morning while coyote hunting. Heard at least 5 or 6 gobbles! I can't wait.

Here in East Tennessee I heard 4 this past weekend...I cant wait til the 28th of march...
