I need a new sight on my SuperNova. I have used iron sights for years and I am thinking about trying something different. Any opinions out there on Red Dot vs. Scope vs. Reflex type

I bought a Mueller MX-1 Red Dot scope last year for my Mossberg 835 at the end of the season. I have yet to see how it works, but so far it seems like a real nice scope. No magnification on it, but just a dot.

I didn't see anything on the first couple of pages so I figured I would start a new thread. I'll check them out. Thanks.

After reading I am still left with a few questions. I am looking at a Mueller Quick Shot tubeless sight. I guess my biggest question is will the dot show up as well on a tubeless as it would on a Tru Glo 1X red dot?
