Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Cody for now... I just ordered a new custom slate from a guy in up state new york... I've heard lots of good things about him from other custom call makers... So I figured I'd give him a try... I should get the call tomorrow... If I like it... I will give him some air time

I have only used production calls and like the Primos Jackpot (glass), but then Carl, (MrGobbler43) made a glass and a slate call for me and I found out what a pot call "should" sound like. Check him out: http://www.northcoastgamecalls.com/

That is a tough one as I have two that go every where I go.

Prairie Calls - Copper Pot
Kaiser Calls - Dual - Slate over Glass Maple burl.

I have been given a few more that need some use - but the above 2 are hard to beat. We will see.

Both are custom and now that is all I buy!

This is one of 'em:

Made by a friend from some home-grown magnolia. It has a tone like no other call I've ever played.

Thunderdome or the Power Crystal. Strikers have a lot to do with it too. Never tried a Cody or Woodhaven, no reason to dish out the cash for that.
