for the life of me i can' t figure out how to use a diaphram. times running out for me. anyone used the mouth yelper? if so, how do they sound? thanks

I like to cup the end of the call with my hand and make short puffs into it.
This call works good in combination with a friction call. Use the mouth call to make the WHINE sound and the friction call for the cluck. Ive pulled gobblers away from the hens with that combo on a couple of occasions.[:-]

I have one of those calls and it has never seen the woods. The problem is that I have to unsrew the call and re-position the diaphram before each use. Even if the call sits for a few minutes, I have to go through this process to get the call to sound like a turkey... otherwise, it sounds just like a woodpecker in distress call!

I should send it back
