we are about out of our 3 inch remington nitro mags...1 5/8 oz of buffered #4...i can still buy the stuff in 25rd boxes if i want..but my dad might shoot 3.5 inchers this year so i was thinking maybe try this magic heavy shot....my gun is a remington 870 express mag 3 inch turkey gun with a 21 inch barrel and a remington extended extra full turkey choke....it patterned GREAT with my previous load....i have 6 and my dad has 5 i think..but he will keep his and i dont have any to pattern with this year thats why i am thinking of switching...what shot size should i try for the best pattern the first time?? do i need a new choke for hevishot or will mine be fine?? i dont have much cash to work with at the time but i might before season so i dont know about getting a new choke....what do you guys think?? stay with my load or switch?? im sure with the pattern i threw with mine a turkey within 40yds is more than dead....thanx....

dont forget that ur gun will only hold 3 inch and ur dad is getting 3.5, i think that u knew that but i was just making sure so u dont end up with nothign. who_else

lol thanx whoelse..i definently knew that...i wasnt buying him hevishot too! lol...i was going to switch because he is going to shot the big boys this year i think...i duno either way 25 shells will last me a good number of years....and thats always my theory about not fixing it until its broken...really if my patterns got any tighter id have to scope it because it would be such a great pattern...i got really lucky...my shells were the first i tried and man..if they can be beat without spending major bucks it would be a heck of a pattern!! thanx...i think i will stick with lead...why spend the money on hevishot and who knows what it will do in my gun....
