The Last Gobble
Heard my last gobble of the spring this morn. at 9:00 A.M. Mountain time. Heard him start up at 4:30. I have no more tags butv could not resist chasing after that final gobble.Spooked him and last saw him topping a ridge. Hope to run in to you again next spring.

I know what you mean. Hard to let them go. I spent a couple hours yesterday evening in my ground blind with my camera. Had a tom strutting in the next field, but he had company so never did come close enough for a good "shot". I hope to go out a few evenings after work in the next coming weeks if possible.
